What our other members say...

If you're on the fence, promise me you'll just bloody TRY it. You won't regret it.
I used to say I HAAAAATE networking sessions with an exceptionally violent passion - don't get me wrong, I won't be joining any other groups any time soon, but Affinity is nothing like that.
No one is there to sell more than they're there to support, that's the beauty of it.

A year ago I would have said: I’m terrified, I worry about not knowing what to say and just feel insecure talking to strangers. Since I’ve joined your sessions this has changed completely, I’m actually really enjoying it and it feels like talking to an old new friend.
These sessions have increased my self esteem, my confidence and my visibility online. I can’t thank you enough Lauren and all you wonderful ladies.
Now I’m always gutted when I can’t join a session cause I’m enjoying it so much. It’s brilliant to be part of this community, to be connected with so many fantastic women that I would have never met.
These sessions have literally changed my life!

My first networking session - and I LOVED it! I have no idea what I was scared of. Everyone was bloody lovely, there wasn't even the slightest whiff of ickiness, and I swear someone took at least 8 minutes out of each of those 10 minute chats, as they just flew by
TBH, calling Affinity meetings "networking" feels like I'm cheating at networking!
Because for me "networking" is about a load of people being noisily salesy and competing to push their businesses, while I hang around the periphery feeling that I'm hopelessly inadequate, that no one wants to talk/listen to me, and that it's all a bit - ok, a shitload - icky.
Affinity is a chance to make new connections with lovely, like-minded women, and to catch up with the friends you made in previous sessions. It's a place of kindness, laughter, sharing and vulnerability. It's somewhere to listen and support, to be heard and supported. It's really quite nice
